The Bichpoo originated in the 1990s in Australia and was bred specifically for families that were searching for an active dog that was calm enough to be around children and other pets in the household. The Poochon’s parent, a Toy Poodle, was first bred in Germany and is a bright and athletic dog who makes a great companion. The Poochon’s other parent, the Bichon Frise, is originally from the Mediterranean.
